Not much time to take out and write. Amber is not yet in chaos--no pun 
intended. Most here are ready for battle anyway. Oberon-sent undead will 
be attempting to "find" me; but for now, coordinating movement of troops 
from Foil to Amber. Most are Corwin's anyway. Almost wish I had a 
secretary.
Battle soon will be not such a good thing. Fairly sure now that enemy 
army will not appear in Amber at all--magical attack seems to require 
distance. In-army fighting of mages too distracting and/or dangerous to 
both groups. Should see if Corwin has any suggestions for Golden Circle 
shadows. Certainly glad that I have few reasons to distrust most of the 
Amberites.
