At least I remembered to get Vaille out of Amber. I would have had to kick myself for a while if anything had happened to her. It ought to improve Random's mood at the very least. Random. I wish the little prick would think of something useful, other than trumping my cousins. The disintegrating shadow fiasco has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think Fiona did it, however. It's not her style. I can too easily guess that it was her, so it wasn't. Since it wasn't, I'm wondering if Finndo can't somehow monitor the Trump calls, which makes me hard pressed to use them. Random seems content to blame Fiona. Maybe Vaille can talk some sense into him. I can't see Fiona kissing anyone's butt for any purpose. Shame that one of Ulysses' shadows was destroyed. Maybe it will give him some incentive against Finndo now. At least he seems willing to help in his own unique way, as is Laughter. Apparently she didn't pick a side until she gathered more information about her father. That information led her to Chaos. She's building an army now and working on any allies she might have in Chaos. That could prove interesting. No word from Jubal yet. I might as well stop blocking Trump calls. He's probably the only one I'm blocking out. Anyone else who wants me seems to be able to take me. I'm sure Finndo falls into that category. I hate not knowing what I'm fighting for. I mean, Kalevala, France, The Great Plains, those have all been pretty clear cut. But I don't know Amber, or my father. What am I fighting for? For Vaille, for Flora, for Laughter, and for what Random seems to have been making work. That will have to be enough, I guess.
