INTERACTION DESIGN

extend

eXtend is a project that was accepted as a Semi-finalist for the 2009 CHI Student Design Competition. In an attempt to reduce the amount of e-waste being produced by higher education institutions, a system called eXtend was created. It is a system of online classified ads that facilitates cascading used Information Technology (IT) equipment such as computers, printers, and monitors from computing-intensive labs in higher education institutions to lower-end labs and then to administrative sites within the institution and finally the local community. talkingpoints

Talking Points is an application that is designed to be used by the visually impaired individuals. It uses a mobile computer to read Bluetooth tags positioned around a city, such as Ann Arbor, in which the user generated location information is presented to the user via either an audio or visual modular interface. Talking Points is a large-scale research project that is consisted of four different teams including the technology, design, research, and business team. As a design team, we communicate with both the biz and tech team in developing and implementing the most efficient interaction design. [Project Details]



udecide

u:Decide is a project intended to virtually connect local homeowners with alternative energy contractors within the region. Based on the results of end-user research, I have utilized my design senses as well as user-centered insight to generate multiple wireframes, lo-fi, and hi-fi prototype. I have used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design attractive visual elements for our persona,scenario, and the different stages of prototypes.[Project Details]

green box is a public interactive display with dynamic and fun visualization to acknowledge the public audience of the seriousness of global warming. Our goal is to provide the audience with an opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment by providing them with information on interactive kiosks so that they can learn the facts as they play with them.
