Individual Work
- Use the World Wide Web to find out the population of the birthplace of one
of your grandparents in the year of his or her birth. Show your search path.
- Use digital resources to find ten significant quotations about the theme
of this week's reading. Cite your sources fully.
- Find, evaluate, and annotate five authoritative web sites for the study
of our current subject.
- Pursue a real question in our current subject until you come to an impasse
following at least three different reasonable search paths. Record your search
paths. Use the Internet (World Wide Web or Usenet) to locate and communicate
with an expert in your field about overcoming that impasse. Record what you
learn from the expert.
- Produce work in a new medium (for example, PowerPoint).
