Feb. 2016 I moved to the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg as an Assistant Professor. Please visit my new homepage.
I am a Research Scientist in the
Assembly Science & Engineering at
the University of Michigan.
My research focuses on understanding the appearance and role of order in condensed matter. For this aim, I combine scientific knowledge and engineering principles to investigate fundamental processes that drive self-assembly and dynamics on the molecular, nanoscale, and colloidal level. My main tools are computer simulations, statistical mechanics, and geometric modeling.
