Workshops Conducted
2015 (February and March), Structural Bolting, Presented (with Jason McCormick) two 6-hour workshops, hosted by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), for MDOT's employees and contractors. About 90 individual attended the workshops.
2006 (May), Design of Steel Bridges. Presented as part of series of workshops organized by the ASCE Ohio Chapter. About 30 consulting engineers attended the session.
2003 (May), AASHTO-LRFD Steel Bridge Design (I). This was part of a series of workshops for MDOT Engineers. About 45 MDOT and consulting engineers attended the session.
2003 (August), AASHTO-LRFD Steel Bridge Design (II). This was part of a series of workshops for MDOT Engineers. About 35 MDOT and consulting engineers attended the session.
2002, Organized, in collaboration with local ASCE chapter, a workshop on techniques for structural analysis of buildings. There were 20 attendees from all over Florida.
2001, Organized and conducted with colleagues a workshop on seismic design of steel and concrete buildings. Other speakers at the workshop were Dr. Sashi Kunnath, UCF, and Dr. S. K. Ghosh, from Ghosh Associates. There were 23 attendees from all over Florida.
