Virtual Reality Visualization of FE Simulations

Welcome to FEMvrml, an interactive virtual environment for visualization of Finite Element (FE) results. It is based on VRML (Virtual Reality Markup Language) and EAI (External Authoring Interface).

FEMvrml has a graphical user interface (GUI) written in Visual C++. The GUI has two main buttons as described next:

Data Processing: allows for conversion of  FE results  from LS-DYNA into VRML. The conversion takes into account part-based geometry, element deletion and predefined viewpoints.

Shell Display: projects the VRML code in the C++ shell along with a Java Applet Interface that permits user interaction with the VRML data.
