Welcome to
FEMvrml, an interactive virtual environment for visualization of
Finite Element (FE) results. It is based on VRML (Virtual
Reality Markup Language) and EAI (External
Authoring Interface).
FEMvrml has a graphical user interface (GUI) written in Visual C++. The
GUI has two main buttons as described next:
Data Processing: allows for conversion of FE results
from LS-DYNA into VRML. The conversion takes into account part-based geometry, element deletion and predefined
viewpoints.
Shell Display: projects the VRML code in the C++ shell along with
a Java
Applet Interface that permits user interaction with the VRML data.
