With these pages, I hope to build a community of people interested in Vandenbossche genealogical research. I am compiling a Vandenbossche GED file that can be read by most genealogy software. My side of the Vandenbossche family emigrated from Belguim in the early 19th century. Gislenus Vandenbossche immigrated to the USA in June, 1844. He traveled with his future wife, Emily Beeckman, and her family and soon settled in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. They are pictured late in life in the photo on the right. Many family members currently reside in Southeast Michigan. I look forward to hearing from and including information about other branches of the Vandenbossche family on this webpage.
