Back in August 1998, our McClellan family had a fun-filled reunion at Metro Beach in Harrison Twp, Michigan. Gary and Carol McClellan of Frankenmuth orchestrated the get-together and pulled it off in fine form. This brought many of us together and reminded us of our shared links. This page was borne out of that reunion.

The McClellans in our tree now trace back to Daniel H. McClellan in the mid 1800's. We believe he emigrated from Scotland but we haven't secured the confirming source infomation quite yet. Daniel operated a livery stable in Detroit, MI in the 1880's while several of his descendants served Detroit as fire fighters. Many family members continue to reside in Southeast Michigan.
