Session 34

All The Marbles

Let's just ignore right now all of the hassle my loved ones gave me about the Jewel. Personally, I think I should get a tickertape parade -- I mean, these same hypocrites were basically shitting their pants from the mere idea of getting the Jewel back from Benedict. But then here I come with the Jewel, and they act like it was as difficult as tying one's shoe. In a different time, I'd of swabbed the deck with all their rooty-poo candy asses. Maybe later...

I left Anna in the garden searching for the shredded remains of her dignity. Sand saw through all of the bullshit and rightfully gave me the Jewel back, but not before essentially selling her my soul. Whether this comes back to bite me in the ass or not I don't know. I'm thinking, more like hoping, that she understands what this all meant to us.

And so much plotting and planning came to pass. Bailey would get us to the Grove of the Unicorn where, with her abilities with all the Jewels, she would transport all of us to the Patterns we needed to be at. So we each made our rounds, she finally promising me that she would return to my father's ship, and I believed her. One last embrace...

I hope this works...

The Pattern was ablaze with sparks and flame, and then there was this curious sensation of falling *up*...

Let's cut quick to the last scene. Gwyn disappeared with the Jewel through a door in the tree. Gen was mourning killing her brother, and Chris was angered, wanting to go after Cirophsoph. I leaned my head against the tree. There's one act left -- pray we survive for the curtain call.
