• Year of the Lance, 336 : Jared uth Wistan is born to Sir David uth Wistan, Knight of the Sword, and Rhiannon Briarmoor in the city of Palanthas
• Year of the Lance, 351-352 : War of the Lance; the armies of the Dark Queen spread throughout the continent of Ansalon; the knowledge of the True Gods returns to the world; the Dragonlances are returns and the armies of the Dark Queen are repelled
• Year of the Lance, 354 : Dragon Highlord Kitiara and Lord Soth lead attack on Palanthas; David uth Wistan killed; Raistlin Majere attempts to enter Abyss to challenge Dark Queen and fails
• Year of the Lance, 355 : Lord Soth attacks Palanthas in retaliation for the death of Kitiara; Jared, now a squire with the Knights, defends the family of the Lord Mayor from attack
• Year of the Lance, 356 : Jared is Knighted by Grand Master of the Knights of Solamnia Gunthar uth Wistan at the rank of Knight of the Crown
• Year of the Lance, 363 : Jared promoted to rank of Knight of the Sword
• Year of the Lance, 367-370 : Jared begins clerical studies at the Temple of Paladine in Palanthas; Knights of Takhisis first appear in northeastern isles off of Ansalon; Jared recalled to duty
• Year of the Lance, 371 : Jared is promoted to Knight of the Rose and is given a battalion of Knights to take to the opposite side of the continent to move back an invasion force of enemy troops
• Year of the Lance, 374 : Mission successful; Jared recalled to Palanthas
