Griffin

Succor

In the eye of a granite needle
I found sanctuary in the wind
Huddling close
Within my cloak
The frigid air was thin

Higher than the highest clouds
A royal shade of blue
Closed my eyes
And realized
My memories were true

Standing, flexing every sense
The Winds had made me whole
A song to sing
Would then bring
Those spirits to my call

In the eye of a granite needle
I found sanctuary in the wind
