Escape

In the shadows
Night is calling
From our fire
Gardens grow

Darkness dwelling
Speaks with silence
Separation
Is all I know

From the ends of the multiverse
In the nadir of despair
At the bottom of a timeless ocean
I -- escape

Travel weary
Long before me
Home my shelter
Shines like gold

Dawn erupting
Forward forward
She my beacon
Into her fold

From the treetops, the mountaintops
In the tombs and cells and holes
Through the skies of seven heavens
I -- escape

How many miles can I ride?
How much can I take?
I -- awake
I -- escape
