Coke, Pepsi, or something else?

  • Mountain Dew. Or Surge. And that's just assuming we're limiting ourselves to soft drinks. :)

  • Pepsi. Just because my boss's daughter prefers Pepsi to Coke and so I drink it just to piss her off. She says it doesn't bother her anymore, but I know it does, because she makes a big deal about me making a big deal about it. Silly, huh? I think SHE prefers Pepsi because it has 41g of sugar(I think Coke has 39g) and caffeine is higher on the ingredients list. But for you calorie killers, Pepsi has more of those too. Sorry - I have little else with which to amuse myself...

  • Definitely something else. I used to drink two bottles of coke a day, and then one day someone told me that it can clean the grease off your garage floor, and I haven't had one since. It scared me, I was only 7. Pepsi, never really appealed to me, I always just thought it was a coke wannabe. So, something else thanks. Unless of course the coke is mixed with something. :)

  • Coke. Tastes best. Less sweet than Pepsi. Red and white. Product loyalty. I don't like the way Pepsi tastes. After Coke, my second preferred cola is RC. Never generic colas. Ever. A&W Root Beer is next. The only Pepsi product I ever liked was Pepsi Lite. Probably 7-Up after that.

  • Is this just pop beverages we're choosing between here?I If os, Pepsi doesn't stand a chance against Coke, especially Cherry Coke. (Diet Coke, blech! Ditto for Diet Pepsi, for that matter. Or Diet anything.) Mountain Dew is okay on occasion, 7-up and Sprite don't do much for me. Oh, and I almost forgot the worst Diet drink of all - Diet Cherry Coke. Yuk!! That was always the last drink to go in our high school vending machine, so I'd get stuck drinking it in 6th Hour French when I was desperately thirsty. Gag.

  • Well, both taste like malted battery acid, so I'd have to go with root beer. And not that cheap Faygo stuff, either! I'm talking the GOOD stuff, like A&W, or the IBC root beer. Of course, a little RC cola or Vernors doesnt' really hurt, either...

  • Well Coke is by far the beter of the two. I would prefer IBC Black Cherry thanks to Chubb. He got me hooked and now I can't find it anywhere. I am going through withdrawl. I hear the pain goes away in a month or so. Does anone know where I can score some?

  • Well, personally I prefer water. But if you want to talk about soft drinks, I can't tell the difference between Coke and pepsi at all.

  • Pepsi defenitely. It has more sugar which makes it worth while to drink since they are so bad for you anyways(both of them. in additon Pepsi has more interestig commecials. Coke is getting into touchy feely commecials about their product...its a freakin soda, give us a funny commercial and leave it at that...don't try and make us feel good about what we're drinking cause we only want a drink not a feeling revival. If I wanted that I'd watch Ghost or hang out with a obsessed poet!!!

  • Raspberry Scwepps Ginger Ale is the BEST! The bubble's tickle your nose and the taste is amazing. (Also it is really good mixed with orange juice and other things)

Unless you're talking about non-soda-type beverages, in that case AriZona Green Tea (with genseng and honey) is the single most wonderful drink ever created. May its makers become rich beyond their wildest dreams and may they produce Green Tea (with genseng and honey) forever!

  • Coke, definitely. Don't swallow that "NeXT Generation" marketing hype. I've used NeXT, and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

  • I think water is the best. Coke and Pepsi are just prideful mankind's way of interfering with what God intended -- a nice, cool, tall glass of water to quench one's thirst. Besides, caffeine makes me need to piss too much.

    my answer is

    Ruby Red Squirt. Mind you, if you put A&W Root Beer, IBC Root Beer, Coke, or Cherry Coke in front of me, it'll be gone before you blink. And sometimes nothing can posssibly fit the bill except a Big Kwencher of Kroger's Sparkling Punch. But in general, Ruby Red Squirt's the best thing going, and they advertise for the Simpsons.
