What was/is your favorite stuffed animal? How old were you when you got it?

The answers (in order recieved):

  • i never got incredibly attatched to a stuffed animal... my favorite would probably be a big dog that i got for my bat mitzvah (13) from a girl im my class that i did not like at all. kinda funny, huh? it made a really good pillow, and it was made from material that is similar to the material that my blankie is made from. my blankie (kiki) is my absolute favortie, and the only thing i ever got attatched to. so attatched, in fact, that i still cannot sleep comfortably without it.

  • Teddy....I know a real unique name but he was the second stuffed creature i ever received. I couldn't have been more than a week old at the time. It's either him or Pillow, the stuffed bear I sleep with when my hunny ain't around.

  • Traditionally, a well roasted turkey on Thanksgiving. Okay, okay... I had to ask my mom about this, since I'm not carrying toys around anymore, and she told me I used to lug around a black and white Pound Puppy named "Chippy." got it for Christmas when I was in third or fourth grade. The thing even had it's own puppies -- sneaky little dog...I though it never left my side. ;)

  • Uh.. something wrong with your question page. My favorite stuffed animal was probably.. a teddy bear or something. I can't think of anything in particular.

  • My favorite stuffed animal as a kid was a stuffed rabbit named Fluffy. His eyes kept falling off. I got him for my first Christmas, which means I was about 6 months old.

  • My current favorite stuffed animal is pretty much the only stuffed animal I still own (I think...) It's a white teddy bear named Fantasy, and my friend Tammy (well, she's no longer my friend, she was my friend then) gave it to me as a present at my 13th birthday party. I like it because it's been with me from ages 13 to almost 18, so it has sentimental value from the memories of these wacky teenage years. I think I shall keep it for a long time to come, since I don't really have any of my "childhood" animals. (I used to collect 'em en masse, I had shelves full. Then I sort of outgrew them all and gave them away to kids, charity or whatnot.) Plus, I think "Fantasy" is a kewl name.

  • My favorite stuffed animal was a rabbit I had ever since I can remember. The name of the rabbit was originally "the rabbit". However one night my sister got a little drunk one night, so she decided that my bunny's name should be just "the". So now I call my bunny "the", even though he is in a sorry state....

  • My favorite was a raccoon with a real raccoon-fur tail on it. I was in the 3rd grade.

  • Well when I was younger, my Cabbage Patch doll was my favourite. I even remember her name... Martha. and I believe I got her when I was about 8. Now my favourite stuffed animal is a cute little Koala bear that I got two years ago from a potential beau who later became a good friend.

  • My favorite stuufed animal is my doggy lori. i got her when i was about 4 or 5 for a chanakkah present. She was a pretty gund puppy, you know the really expensive kind. She slept in my bed every night. Now she is all ripped and gnarled up from yeaars of use. She is sooo cute.

  • my flimsy frog and i was 4 years old

  • a wind-up snoopy that my parents gave me when i was in the hospital with pneumonia as an infant. it doesn't really look like snoopy anymore, due to over two decades of cuddling, but it's my still favourite.

  • I think my favorite stuffed animal would also be the most sentimental one. His name was Baby Bear cuz I had three bears that I often related to the goldylocks story. I was given him when I was a few hours old I think so he's been around all my life. I remember when i was a little tike in Europe and he fell outta my backpack, I almost died right then and there had some nice person not found it and set it out side their store with a sign for us to find him. He's pretty cool.

  • Probably a Snoopy doll that I got when I made ti in fourth grade.

  • My favorite was probably a giant blue stuffed teddy bear named Bluebear who only had one eye. He was one of those cheap stuffed animals you get at a carnival. He was actually kind of ugly.

  • I have this cool stuffed gorilla that I got from my Mom last Christmas, although I don't really think of it as a stuffed animal in the traditional sense (at least not my traditional sense). Mostly, just a decoration. (I'm too manly to admit owning a stuffed animal for any other reason)

  • Right now, my favorite stuffed animal is a white and black dog named Dan. I got Dan when I was about 16, and named him in honor of a special friend.

  • My favorite stuffed animal is one that my entire family shares. His name is "Stanley - The CrossDressing Monkey." Stanley is a male monkey who wears a blue and white plaid dress, he used to have a lovely straw hat but that is missing now. He will show up at birthdays, holidays, and other special events, like my sister finding Stanley in a laundry basket when she moved into a dorm for the first time. Stanley has been with us for over ten years now and has been from Maine to Florida.

  • Pandy, a stuffed panda bear. Kinda ratty looking (they always are), with both eyes, a nose, and a button that was glued on for a while. He was with me since the beginning of time and was taken from me at the tender age of 7.

  • melvin, a stuffed purple dog. melvin was truly ugly, often ripped and often repaired, and truly loved. I think I was 2 when I got him....young enough to let my dad dub him 'melvin', in any case.

  • My favourite stuffed animal is a pig that my dad bought for me when I was 10. I named it Theodore and called it Teddy for short. At the time I thought it was ironic that I called a stuffed animal that wasn't a teddy bear "Teddy".

  • A raccoon named "Bandit" and I don't remember getting him, so I must have been really young! That was a tough one, though, because I had A LOT of stuffed animals. I thought they had feelings and used to line them up in bed with me. Their heads had to be out of the covers "so they could breathe." I used to make my older sister help me line them up and there wasn't much room left for me! She still reminds me of that every once in awhile. :)

  • My favorite stuffed animal is a pink rabbit about a foot and a half tall wearing overalls. I've had him--"Hoppy" (what an original name for a rabbit)--most of my life. Some long, in fact, that he if practically falling apart.

  • I was given a Paddington the Bear when I was around 4 or 5, and I still have it to this day (although he's a little threadbear by now)

  • The Y man (yosemite sam)... Does he count? He is an animal in my book. I was 32.

    My answer:

My penguin, Pengy, probably. I got him when I was 12 I think. Although he lost his bow tie several years ago he still looks like a cool penguin. Myy favorite thing about him is that he has hese great blue eyes, but you have to move the feathers to see them.
