If you could have any job (and income didn't matter), what would it be?
The answers (in
order recieved):
Actress...duh. OK if it had to be a job not in my current chosen
field, I would have to say literature professor: 19th Century French.
I'd want to write stuff, and possibly direct movies.
It wouldn't be just one job, it would be many. I would presue various
interests all at the same time. Which would probably intale me living on a
tropical island making crafts and art to sell to the tourists, teaching
the
locals anything they wanted to learn, helping build the infrastructure
that was
needed within their culturual prespective, Collecting information and
studying
the local flora and fauna, Helping to maintain the enviroment of the local
area, Being polictally active on behalf of the native people and the
enviroment, and try to spread awarness and education of the local culture
to
1st world countries.
i'd play music professionally.
Philanthropist!
Andy Richter's old job on Conan. Mmmmm...Conan...Mmmmmm
Train Engineer - either that or Male Porn Star
A Neurologist or Neurosurgeon (which is why I'm going to medical
school :)
President for Life of a small tropical island nation of no
particular strategic significance.
Dream jobs, what a fun topic! I'd love to be either a rock star or
someone who gets to interview them. Actually, the interviewing thing
might be
better; that way, I'd know that *I'd* not be in the tabloids!
I would be a Broadway actress/film star/writer/singer, how's that
for a combo? :) Oh, and a supermodel on the side, heh...
Sportswriter. The writing part isn't really a key factor. It's the
idea of being able to attend all of the various important sports events
without
the hassle of procuring good seats and arranging travel on my own. I'd say
Sport Announcer, but I consider most of them morons, so I'd have too many
moron
co-workers if I went for that job. So, Sportswriter it is!
I'd split my time being the backup catcher for the Yankees and being
host of the Daily Show.
I would be a marine biologist that went scuba diving with the
creatures of the ocean all the time.
I think that I'd like to own a b&b aka a bed and breakfast. I would
love that.
Rock Star. To me quality of life is much more important than any
monetary consideration. You have to have a passion for what you do. To
truly be
fulfilled you must become your work, completely immersed. So the best job
in
the world has got to be playing in a band and having sex all day. Nothing
else
competes.
a bum
Flower shop delivery person...everyone is always happy to see you!
I would be a traveling hotel critic or a tv home/cooking show host.
Stress level ZERO thank you very much!
My boyfriend would be a bartender, like Tom Cruise in cocktail.
Jennifer Love Hewitt's G-string
CEO of an IT training center.
I would be a stage actress and choral director... mom, wife.....
i have a few: id either be an archeologist, or a full-time artist,
or i would open my own gallery.
I think I might want to be a professional bowler. Or maybe an
assassin.
hmm, that's a tough one. I have a couple.
1. a psychologist so I could hear the lurid details of people's lives.
2. An actress, so I could find out the lurid details of being an actress,
and
learn about other actors.
3. A writer
4. A rock star
I'd run a rescue & rehab sanctuary for abused/unwanted housecats,
plus educate the public about animal psychology (like Jane Goodall, except
with
cats rather than apes).
A rock star.
Probably author--I'd love to be able to write good fiction that
people enjoyed. Plus, it would be cool to be famous, yet be able to go
out in
public without being mobbed.
NHL Referee. Just so I could have Jim Schonfeld offer me a donut ;)
... either that or I'd want Don Cherry's job
lead litigator at a law firm
TEACHER, I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE A DIFFERANCE IN A KIDS LIFE. "THERE
IS NOTHING LIKE THE LOOK IN A KIDS EYES WHEN THEY GET IT."
Dream job, woo! I would be the bass guitarist in a prog-rock band,
like my main man Geddy Lee. Oh... wait... no, I can't play bass guitar.
Play
professional ice hockey?? Maybe I should learn how to ice skate first.
Ummm,
YEAH, I'd work for Lucasfilm, doing special effects for Star Wars
movies!!!
Definately design my own card line for Hallmark. Art and fun text.
Still live in the midwest.
My answer:
Third basemen for the Chicago Cubs. Nothing against Bill Mueller, but I'd
love that job. If it had to be something I was remotely qualified for,
I'd
like to be a radio announcer for the Cubs.
