Are you doing / did you do anything interesting for Halloween?
The answers (in
order recieved):
Does watching tons of horror pictures count?
Last weekend I went to Michigan (yay!) for a party, and dressed as a
Ringwraith until that got too hot. I don't expect I'll be doing anything
terribly interesting on Halloween proper, though.
work, school.... so no.
only my boyfriend. I did him. He was interesting.
I'm dressing an egyptian mummy (sexy female in strips of sheer
fabric)and tormenting the attorneys in the law firm I work for.
Sit in my room with the lights shut off with the window open with my
.22 and look for kids with toilet paper with my scope.
Why should I? Life is scary enough and many people don't even need a
camouflage to give us the creeps
I'll be visiting my parents over the weekend, but it's not for
halloween. Over here (in Sweden) halloween is something that the sellers
of
plastic pieces of crap hope will catch on so they can sell more stupid
stuff.
Actually on today? NO. I might go trick or treating with my neices
and nephew though. Last night I went on a "haunted cruise" though I saw
no
ghosts or spirits, tomorrow I'm going on to a "Dumb Supper". This is not
for
those with IQ's below 70. It's a traditional pagan supper where you set a
place for your ancestors with momentos etc, eat in silence and wait for
them to
show up. It's a way of honoring and communicating with your "beloved
dead".
I'm doing it with a different group on Saturday night, but camping out
this
time.. Woooooooo
My aerobics class? Then handing out candy to trick or treaters.
Well, I was a zombie extra for a low-budget horror movie that's
filming in Belleville...
At work in hockey jersey and hockey socks.
I'm giving candy to small humans.
I'm working a library reference desk. Not in costume this year,
after last year a dad told me it was hard to concentrate on what I was
saying
and not on the cleavage that my costume created.
I went to a party Saturday night dressed as Catwoman, and I'll take
my son trick-or-treating tonight, but that's it.
Alas, no. I went to "Rocky Horror" at the State as usual, does that
count? :)
I'm watching the Iowa game which I recorded on Sat and haven't seen
yet, and hearing from one stupid person who would not listen that I don't
know
how the game ends, I'm guessing that it's not going to be a good
Halloween.
Handing out candy for the first time at my own house!
Had a party. Got drunk. Saw some old friends. Had lots of leftover
booze and cupcakes.
I'm getting two cavities filled. Does that count as interesting?
I think I will be going to a movie with Donald later this evening.
But I really haven't done anything truly interesting on Halloween in some
time.
I'm getting boring in my dotage....
This was my first year doing the Halloween thing at my new
elementary school teaching job. I recycled my costume concept from last
year's
Halloween concept (a mime) and watched my little kiddies in the Halloween
parade at school in the afternoon. I saw a few SpongeBob costumes, some
statues of liberty, a bunch of Spidermen, quite a few Jedi Knights, and
the
usual group of cats, mice, cows, gorillas, and other creatures. I plan to
go
to bed at about 10 tonight. Man, I'm old.
As usual the band I'm in, the B.t.u.'s, played a couple of Halloween
parties. I almost always get to run the costume contest and this year's
party
at the Colony Pub was no exception. This year it was a special pleasure
due to
all the naughty ladies that came that night. There was a French maid, a
naughty
nurse, Marilyn Monroe, Morticia Addams and Betty Boop. My favorite was the
little bunny rabbit, though. What an incredible body. I found myself
playing
just for her and imagining what it would be like to pleasure her. I openly
stared at her as she gyrated on the dance floor. I couldn't help but
notice
that she had not come with anyone. What is it about wearing a costume that
releases the animal in us?
Hmm...nothing Halloween-ish, but I bought tickets to fly
cross-country to visit a very special friend I met online in 98 -- he
stumbled
onto my website by accident and sent me email just to say hello. It's the
closest friendship either of us have ever had, so we're going to see if we
can
take it into RL romance. Have to love the Internet. ;^)
My answer:
I went to see Evil Dead II with the 21st person to respond to this
question. It was fun, and I really appreciated the number of women on
campus wearing Catholic High School uniforms as their costumes.
