Who is your favorite cartoon character?

The answers (in order recieved):

  • Scooby Doo, All he does is eat, and try to stay outta trouble. You can't agrue with that lifestyle.

  • Jessica Rabbit. Not just a pretty face. (Not just the great body either.) She was smart. She kicked ass. She appreciated Roger Rabbit too. A '90s grrrrl.

  • Scooby Doo....Ruh Rooo!

  • The Tick! A mighty blue pinwheel of justice!

  • Mmmmmm.... Homer Simpson. If only I could live his life, slack off like he does and get away with it... (In the style of Homer) Hey wait a minute... I actually DO get away with it! D'OH!

  • Batman

  • Probably Daria and Jane from MTV's "Daria" (can't pick just one, although I used to prefer Jane, now I kinda prefer Daria, go figure). They're smart, sardonic, wonderful geek grrls like myself, what can I say? Jane's brother Trent is pretty cool, too.

  • Jasper (from the Simpsons)

  • I'd say Tora from the anime series "Ushio & Tora". For those of you who doesn't know about it, he's a big lion-like monster (who's gonna eat ya :) ) and he tries to be really evil and monster-like, but he actually has a big heart, though he tries to hide it. Unfortunately, as far as I know, the series wasn't very long-lived.

  • Cartman Rules

  • Buttercup!!!!!!! (she's a Power Puff girl.)

  • Marvin the Martian! Someday I just know he'll succeed in blowing up the earth.

  • Razor from the SWAT Kats

  • Droopy Dog. I love it when poople imitate him, and I love the whole theme of the cartoons where he is an innocent who always wins out. Like Bill Murray in "The Man Who Knew Too Little."

  • hmmm. tough one. lately,as tv goes, daria (a show i can relate to) and pokemon (too cute). ive never been a big comics reader, but i liked cathy (again, i can relate). im having trouble coming up with whatever i watched in my youth... smurfs are the only ones that come to mind! i wonder what it means that my whole generation grew up on small blue humanoids with only one female to share between them....

  • Courage, The cowardly dog

  • ralph wiggum

  • I kind of switch favorites. Most of the time, Wile E. Coyote.

  • Dexter. My favorite line is "You're stooopid and you're stooopid and you're stooopid. Oh yeah, don't forget you're stooopid". There is a place in my heart for SpongeBob SquarePants, too.

  • Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory

  • The Pink Panther

  • No question: Batman!

  • I'm a traditionalist; I will have to go with Bugs Bunny.

  • My favorite cartoon character has to be Papa smurf. I haven't seen the show in years, but when I was a little kid... it was smurfs away!!

  • Mighty Mouse, I liked the nifty theme song.

  • Optimus Prime, because for me and others in my generation, he defined what a good leader was and was a good role model. Fortunately, I was old enough to not burst out crying when he died in TF: the Movie.

  • curious george

  • Duo Maxwell

  • mickey mouse -- i guess i'm just an old-fashioned girl.

  • Bugs Bunny! Gotta be!

  • Yogi Bear. My RA looks kinda like him

  • Snoopy!

  • fred flintstone

  • Scooby Doo

  • Mickey Mouse

    My answer:

With apologies to Sailor Moon, Grandpa Simpson and Starscream...
Wile E. Coyote is the only answer I could give. I can identidfy with the self-proclaimed SuperGenius who always strives towards the same goal, never relenting and never giving up, no matter what the odds.
