What was your favorite song of the 1990s?

  • "Broken" by Madonna.

  • Hard question.. maybe the Love & Rockets one, Alive.

  • Been Caught Stealing by Jane's Addiction

  • It's very hard to say what my favorite song was, but I know it was not TLC's "Scrub". In all honesty, it was probably either something I sang in a choir, or something written by the Squirrel Nut Zippers... Boy I'm a hardy fan...

  • Hmmmm....that's a tough one really. Most of my fave songs are older than the 90's, I think...hmm. How about I just randomly nominate the first 2 songs from the 90's that I really like that I can think of? That would be Chantal Kreviazuk's "Surrounded" and Annie Lennox's "Walking On Broken Glass". Oh, and a ton of songs by Dar Williams and Tori Amos...ok, forget it, now that I start thinking about it there are way too many faves from the 90's for me to mention.

  • "I will not go quietly" - Steven Curtis Chapman

  • There was a 1990's??? Went so fast.... Perfectly Good Guitar by John Hiatt c.1993

  • "I will remember you" by Sarah McLauchlan

  • Let's Get Rocked by Def Leppard

  • You must be truly bored. De gustabus desputandum est. Anyway, I feel that the 90's were the decade of the great woman singer/songwriters. There's just so many great records from them. Ten Cent Wings, Tuesday Night Music Club, Nick of Time, Luck Of The Draw. I'm going to listen to these for the rest of my life. If I had to pick one song I guess it would be "All I Wanna Do" but only because that's the obvious pick and it's too hard to decide between all the other great songs.

  • Can't say. Never was very good at Best Of lists and so forth....

  • "All Star" by Smashmouth

  • Tweeter and the Monkey Man by the Traveling Wilburys

  • My Sister (Juliana Hatfield) o/~ I hate my sister She's such a bitch She acts as if she doesn't even know that I exist o/~

  • Just one?! Tough.... Killer McHann, live version

  • Blood Makes Noise (Susanne Vega)

  • Ja Rule's Put it on me!

  • the yard birds gave us Clapton ... someone thought it was Cream... he was in Cream after the yard birds... then Traffic ... then solo... Jimmy Page was also in the yard birds...

  • All songs from the 1990s were lame. I've racked my brain for a 1990s song that didn't suck, and I can't even think of one.

  • Sex on the beach

    my answer is

"Jump Around" - House of Pain, the Springboy themesong.
