Physics 463 Winter 2008

March 27, 2008: Office hours cancelled Monday, March 31. Alternate office hours on Wednesday April 2, from 10-11.
March 18, 2008: Midterm 2 will be held Thursday, April 3, in class. It will primarily cover material since the first Midterm, including free-electron gas, energy bands and semiconductors.
March 13, 2008: Problem set#5 is posted. It will be due Tuesday, March 25, during class.
February 10, 2008: Problem set #3 and #4 (combinded) are posted. They will be due Friday February 22, before the break.
February 10, 2008: Midterm #1 date set for Thursday March 6th, in class.

January 16, 2008: Problem set #2 is posted. It is due January 31.
January 10, 2008: Fixed a couple of typos on PS#1, the here is the new version, although you can still access the original.
January 7, 2008: Office hours are set for M 1:30-2:30, T: 10:00-11:00 in 4231 Randall Lab, or by appointment.
January 7, 2008: Problem set #1 is online (click on the left or visit the assignments page). Please review the homework policies in the syllabus Note that it will be due on January 17th.
January 4, 2008: You should have received and email asking you to vote for your preferred office hours time.
