I received the PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2012) and the Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2006) from the School of Mechanical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Michigan, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Coordinated Science Laboratory, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (August 2012 - August 2014), a Visiting Research Scholar with the GRASP Lab, University of Pennsylvania (June 2013, Fall 2010) and a Visiting Research Scholar with the University of Delaware, Mechanical Engineering Department (Spring 2009).
I joined the Department of Aerospace Engineering as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2014. As of July 2022, I have transitioned to the new Department of Robotics, with a dry appointment in Aerospace Engineering.
