So, what about any critters on the mountaintop when it's sliced off and chucked?

Phaedros, I agree, the current pic is more of a placeholder until I can find a really good one. (And the MM2 one...well, I wanted to avoid a 'generic' death knight pic for the first and foremost death knight)

Kain, I think it would unclutter quite a bit Driz'zt stat blocks if you ditch most of the Two Weapon Fighting feats he has and just give him the Ambidextrous special quality that Entreri and most TWF characters in Alternate world have.

I agree. Would you recommend replacing or just dropping the feats?

Well, if you take out Two Weapon Fighting, Improved Two Weapon Fighting, Greater Two Weapon Fighting and Dual Strike, you could give him Bounding Assault, Greater Two Weapon Defense, Improved Initiative and/or Two Weapon Rend.

If you also ditch the Two Weapon Defense feats and Twin Sword Style (maybe trading them for a +2/-1 AC bonus/attack rolls penalty with Combat Expertise, or the DF official feat that does just that when using two weapons), you could also give him Rapid Blitz, Power Attack or Improved Skirmish.

I also noticed that Driz'zt has Improved Combat Expertise. I recall you saying once that it was an awful feat and that Combat Expertise shouldn't be limited at -5. Maybe you could change the feat or even change how Combat Expertise and Improved Combat Expertise work in Alternate World.

I think I've changed my mind on that. Increasing damage isn't as potentially unbalancing as increasing armor class.

He's referring to Simbul's move mountain. I'd assume they'd fall off.

I don't know if there is any art of Kargoth specifically. The MM2 picture was the closest thing I could find to this description:

Standing just over seven feet tall, Saint Kargoth cuts an imposing figure in his ornate black armor and flowing red cape. He wears an open-faced horned helm, and his taught, leathery skin is a dull, hideous green. His lips, teeth and tongue are blackened as though by fire. Visible plumes of steam come from his mouth when he speaks, his basso voice deep and booming. His empty eye sockets are illuminated by pinpricks of intense, fiery red light.

This isn't too bad, though still not quite as impressive as I'd expect him to be.

Um, yeah, posting after midnight has the effects of mild inebriation, and at that moment, you had just posted the Simbul.

Was wondering how violently they'd fall off, and the possibility of hanging on for dear life and getting crushed in the impact.

There's a size error on the name of Nememiah of the Chalice.

There might will be a few of those, thanks to the switch over. Which is why I have Aluroon moderating the stuff. Most of them should be fixed within a couple days. (Although I did fix this one)

A bunch of the text in Iggwilv's Thaumaturgy or whatever ability is italicized that shouldn't be. Also, stat her quasit familiar, since she freaking has one in the picture you are using of her.

Kain, would it be fair to say that Io's going to be the most powerful being in AW (you've really got to come up with a better title for this stuff...).

An original creation invented shortly after doing stats for a dire penguin.

Well, it would be a toss up between Io and the Lady of Pain, but I think it is a fair assessment. Both would be inferior to any actual overdeities, assuming I ever do stats for such.

The Lady's got a 15-point CR lead on Io, so it seems like he shouldn't be threatening her, but he has a 10-point cosmic rank lead and so could plausibly beat her. Incidentally, why does Io have a huge CsR lead?

CR does not compare the threat that two creatures pose to each other but to a party of four. Cosmic rank contributes nothing to CR, because parties are assumed to not have godhood. A cosmic rank of 1 billion and a cosmic rank of 1 are effectively the same to a typical party.

Incidentally, why does Io have a huge CsR lead?

As an elder god, he doubles his divine rank (20) for most purposes. I'm not yet decided whether or not that should extend to rank checks, but for now it does.

Woo, dragons!

I have no problem with Io being on par with the Lady of Pain, but I doubt that surprises anybody.

EDIT: When Garyx uses his breath to summon elementals, is that instead of, or in addition to the normal damage?

No, but I would expect it to be suggestive of who's-stonger-than-whom when you're dealing with a 15 point discrepancy.

But the Lady has +30... is She somehow supreme among non-elder/over gods without being an elder/over god Herself?

As I see her, she's a sentient defense mechanism for the Cage, which holds some ancient secret prisoner. As a cosmic entity, she doesn't have actual rank, but merely a rank bonus that can be set at any number I choose.

Do you still have those G1 Optimus Prime stats you did on the site-before-last?
