Directions

The following are directions to “Astronomy at the Beach” at Kensington Metropark.

Area Map of Southeast Michigan

Kensington Metropark is located near Brighton, Michigan.

From the west, travel to the intersection of US-23 and I-96, go east on I-96.

From the east, travel west on I-96.

Either way, use exit 151 (Kensington Road), proceed North and enter Kensington Metropark.

There is currently road construction in the area. If the Kensington Road north ramp (Exit 151) is closed due to construction, use Kent Lake Road north (Exit 153—2 miles to the east) and follow the signs to enter the park.

Once you’ve entered the Metropark, proceed to Maple Beach.
