Blessed be he who has come. He Who is powerful above all, He Who is blessed above all, He Who is great above all, He Who is supreme above all, may He bless the groom and the bride.

בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא. מִי אַדִּיר עַל הַכֹּל, מִי בָּרוּךְ עַל הַכֹּל, מִי גָּדוֹל עַל הַכֹּל, מִי דָּגוּל עַל הַכֹּל, הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת הֶחָתָן וְאֶת הַכַּלָּה.

Baruh ha-ba. Mi adir al ha-kol, mi baruh al ha-kol, mi gadol al ha-kol, mi dagul al ha-kol, hu y'vareih et he-hatan v'et ha-kalah.

Blessed be she who has come. He Who understands the speech of the rose among the thorns, the love of a bride who is the joy of the beloved ones, may He bless the groom and the bride.

בְּרוּכָה הַבָּאָה. מִי בָּן שִׂיחַ שׁוֹשַׁן חוֹחִים, אַהֲבַת כַּלָּה מְשׂוֹשׂ דּוֹדִים. הוּא יְבָרֵךְ אֶת הֶחָתָן וְאֶת הַכַּלָּה.

Bruhah ha-ba'a. Mi ban siah shoshan hohim, ahavat kalah m'sos dodim. Hu y'vareih et he-hatan v'et ha-kalah.


ארוסין (Eirusin, Betrothal)

Blessed are You, Hashem, our G-d, King of the universe, Who creates the fruit of the vine. (Amen.)

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּא ד' אֱלֹקֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, בּוֹרֵא פְּרִי הַגָּפֶּן. (אָמֵן.)

Baruh ata Hashem Elokeinu Meleh ha-olam, borei pri hagafen. (Amein.)

Blessed are You, Hashem, our G-d, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments, and has commanded us regarding forbidden unions; Who forbade betrothed women to us, and permitted women who are married to us through canopy and consecration. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who sanctifies His people Israel through canopy and consecration. (Amen.)

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ד' אֱלֹקֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קְדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו וְצִוָּנוּ עַל הָעֲרָיוֹת, וְאָסַר לָנוּ אֶת הָאֲרוּסוֹת, וְהִתִּיר לָנוּ אֶת הַנְּשׂוּאוֹת לָנוּ עַל יְדֵי חֻפָּה וְקִדּוּשִׁין. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ד', מְקַדֵּשׁ עַמּוֹ יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל יְדֵי חֻפָּה וְקִדּוּשִׁין. (אָמֵן.)

Baruh ata Hashem Elokeinu Meleh ha-olam, asher k'd'shanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu al ha-arayot, v'asar lanu et ha-arusot, v'hitir lanu et ha-n'su'ot lanu al y'dei hupah v'kidushin. Baruh ata Hashem, m'kadeish amo Yisraeil al y'dei hupah v'kidushin. (Amein.)

Behold, you are consecrated to me by means of this ring, according to the law of Moses and Israel. (Amen.)

הֲרֵי אַתְּ מְקֻדֶּשֶׁת לִי בְּטַבַּעַת זוֹ כְּדַת משֶׁה וְיִשְׂרָאֵל.

Harei at m'kudeshet li b'taba'at zo k'dat Moshe v'Yisraeil.

Blessed are You, Hashem, our G-d, King of the universe, Who has made us live, sustained us, and brought us to this point in time. (Amen.)

Bring joy and delight the barren one through the ingathering of her children amidst her in gladness. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who gladdens Zion through her children.

שׂוֹשׂ תָּשִׂישׂ וְתָגֵל הָעֲקָרָה, בְּקִבּוּץ בָּנֶיהָ לְתוֹכָהּ בְּשִׂמְחָה, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ד', מְשַׂמֵּחַ צִיּוֹן בְּבָנֶיהָ. (אָמֵן.)

Sos tasis v'tageil ha-akarah, b'kibutz baneiha l'tohah b'simhah. Baruh ata Hashem, m'sameih Tzion b'vaneiha. (Amein.)

Gladden the beloved companions as You gladdened Your creature in the Garden of Eden from aforetime. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who gladdens groom and bride.

שַׂמֵּחַ תְּשַׂמַּח רֵעִים הָאֲהוּבִים, כְּשַׂמֵּחֲךָ יְצִירְךָ בְּגַן עֵדֶן מִקֶּדֶם, בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ד', מְשַׂמֵּחַ חָתָן וְכַלָּה. (אָמֵן.)

Sameiah t'samah rei'im ha-ahuvim, k'sameihaha y'tzirha b'gan eiden mikedem. Baruh ata Hashem, m'sameih hatan v'halah.

Blessed are You, Hashem, our G-d, King of the universe, Who created joy and gladness, groom and bride, mirth, gaiety, pleasure, glee, love, brotherhood, peace, and companionship. Speedily, Hashem, our G-d, let there be heard in the cities of Judah and the squares of Jerusalem the sound of joy and the sound of gladness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the grooms' jubilance from their canopies and of youths from their song-filled feasts. Conclusion

May Hashem bless you and keep you. (Amen.) May Hashem shine His face shine upon you and consecrate you. (Amen.) May Hashem lift up His face upon you and grant you peace. (Amen.)
