Note:
Exams: All exams are
closed-book. One, double-sided letter-size note-sheet is
allowed. Calculators are allowed but will not be necessary.
Projects: You are to choose a topic
illustrating an application of solid state physics, give a 15
minute presentation on the subject to the class, and write a
term paper on this topic. You can form a team of up to 3
members for the project, and give the presentation together.
But each of you will have to write your own term paper.
