About the AA6
The Ann Arbor 6 is a multi-disciplinary, inter-cultural, trans-generational, hyper-gendered, over-zealous, unpredictable, overly oppressed, and surly bunch of dual master's degree students at the University of Michigan School of Information and the Synergistic Life Experience Correspondence School.
The members of the AA6 (in no particular alphabetical order):
Carol Beckman: Carol hails from the sunny state of California. Her hobbies include reading to deaf children and working towards world peace in America. A three-time Miss America pageant contestant, she has yet to secure that illustrious crown. But we're still rooting for you, Carol!
Meredith Bull: In a rush of wind and a swirl of flames, Meredith began. Theories abound attempting to explain her origins and role here among us, but there can be no dispute: Meredith Is. On days she can tear herself from the awesome responsibilities of libation dispensation, Meredith may be found surreptitiously coveting the Almond M&Ms (tm) of others.
Daniel Chudnov: Dan claims innocence, but has never provided an alibi sufficient enough to explain his whereabouts on April 14, 1929, the day 4220 cows mysteriously disappeared from near Farmer Johnson's northwest Lafayette, IN General Store. Between migratory seasons, Dan often constructs large kites only to see them repeatedly stolen by wood sprites.
Cathleen Craighead: World reknown yet famous for shunning the spotlight following the recent Nobel announcements, we may all learn from the modesty constantly exhibited by Cathleen. "My only desire," Cathleen is wont to say, shyly, "is scuba."
Tom Hyry: Despite his gruff exterior and seen-it-all glare, Tom maintains a firm indifference. Born in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, he finds solace under the synthetic rays of Ann Arbor tanning booths. A tip from Tom: 'Don't look back, something may be quoting you.'
Nina Reid: A lifetime resident of Greenland before hopping the pond to join the AA6, Nina is often called upon at large gatherings to perform the Komschovsky Arias in all fourteen languages. In her spare time, Nina has compiled a tremendous International Go Federation ranking--becoming the youngest Westerner ever to achieve the Fourth Rank before age nineteen.
