1860 census, Steuben Indiana, p 502:
Henry Ritter age 57 farmer born Pa, Mary 49 born Pa, David 28 born Oh, Catherine 15 born Ohio. Nearby is household headed by Jacob Ritter age 60 born Pa, Maria 60 born Pa.

Charles (58) and Lavina (48) Feeman are hh 382 in the 1880 Canaan Twp census with children Willis H (26), Elmer (16), and Carrie (9).

Charles' marker at Jackson Presbyterian Cemetery in Wooster, OH indicates he was a Civil War Vet 1861-1865.

Elizabeth Kinsey couldn't be located -- "left Shreve" for parts unknown.
Lovina and Leander Feeman sold the estate to pay debts. Land, 47 acres, was appraised at $3800. Sold to John and Ellen Cahce.
Charles left a will, written Oct 31 1900.

Elizabeth is mentioned in Henry Hoffheins' 1857 will as being deceased.

Stone has her age at death as 32 years 29 days, making the 1811 birthdate too early and her mother more likely to be Elizabeth Krone.

-- Franklin, 19 yrs in 1864, Mondilla, 17 yrs Oct 2 1864 were considered minors and orphans of Elizabeth Feeman.
-- Also orphans were Mary, age 14 Sept 4 1864, Leander, age 12, Nov 25 1864, and Willis H. age 10, Oct 3 1864.
-- Charles and Peter Feeman were appointed as guardians on Apr 15 1865.

A John Hoffphine is in the estate list of Solomon Bartel, d. 1852 Canaan Twp Wayne Co, OH, having bought an "old wagon".

John Hoffhines is listed as Henry Hoffhines' son in an IRS receipt dated Jan 1 1866. He paid his share of the 15.42 inheritance tax, $1.88. (Rate for every $100 was $1.00).
