Judging from these records, George would have had to be born in Mass -- since th 2 CONC e census taker gives a different birthstate for George each decade, anything's possible. 2 CONT E. Charles Billings is in the 1820 Conway, Franklin Co, Mass census, 5 males, 7 females, an 2 CONC d also Elisha Billings, an older hh with 3 males and 3 females, and William Billings, 2 male 2 CONC s (one old, one young) and 5 females. 2 CONT 2 CONT George Billings is in the 1840 Onandaga NY census, age 20-30, with 3 girls < 10 and 1 femal 2 CONC e 30-40. In the same county (Wayne) 2 CONC , NY, in town of Ontario, lived 63 yr old Charles Billings, b. NY, a carpenter, and Joanna 36 2 CONC , Elizabeth, 10, Delia, 8, Catherine M., 7, Martha R, 6, & Hannah (J.), 3. On same page (4 h 2 CONC ouseholds away) are William Billings, 70, born C.T. (Connecticut?), and Hannah, 67, b. RI 2 CONC . 2 doors away are Charles Billings, 31, carpenter, b. Mass, Emily, 31, b. NY, and Martin, 8 2 CONC , b NY. Households headed by Asa Twitchell, 49, b. Mass, Margaret Gregg, 70, b. Mass, and Sy 2 CONC lvester Purdy, 30, b.
