Timothy O'Neill is currently finishing up the final year of a
double BM in
violin and composition at the University of Cincinnati
College-Conservatory
of Music. An accomplished musician in both aspects, he has won the
CCM
violin concerto competition each of the last two years. Tim has
soloed with
several ensembles, including the CCM Philharmonia, Cincinnati
Symphony
Orchestra, Aspen Young Artists Orchestra, and the Starling
Chamber
Orchestra. In March 2000, he toured China with the aforementioned
Starling
Chamber Orchestra, performing Vivaldi's "Winter" from "The Four
Seasons,"
and subsequently recorded it that summer. Tim studies with Kurt
Sassmannshaus and Joel Hoffman at CCM, and coaches chamber music in
the
Starling Program.
