TIGER For Windows

TIGERWIN is a computer program that calculates the detonation and explosion characteristics and reaction products of an explosive composition, starting from the molecular composition and initial density of the ingredients in the formulation. The user has a variety of choices, or can use the default values, for the equation of state, type of calculation (such as Chapman-Jouguet state, Isoline, or Point). The user can also select alternatives for frozen equilibria, partial reaction, or can fix the concentration of certain reaction products.

The results of the calculations can be presented or printed in a variety of ways, including a complete printout of all calculated data, or plots of expansion work, pressure, and temperature of the reaction products as a function of pressure during the expansion from the detonation state. A Compare table allows the user to compare the results of several computations for different formulations in one simple table, or to print out the result of one calculation on a summary table.

Creating the input, selecting options, running the program, and selecting the format of presenting the output is as simple as any Windows program -- click-and-drag, type in some numbers, and view or print the output in table or graph form.

Login to CAEN: Start -> All Programs -> Engineering Applications -> TigerWin -> TIGERWIN

NOTE: After clicking Run, follow this instruction to open the result page.
click Compare -> At Output Files, choose the Formulation Name for this calculation -> Add -> Done
IF you click the icon or Output -> View -> Orginal Output, you will get "Path not found"
