Produced: September 22, 2006 Larry Fruth is the Executive Director of the School Interoperability Framework (SIF). SIF (www.sifinfo.org) produces a set of standards deployed primarily in the K12 market that enable plug-and-play interoperability between vendors of K12 IT solutions. SIF specifies data models, XML schemas and transport protocols to implement a service oriented architecture. In this video we look at SIF's technology, applications, and future plans.
