Clubhouse University of Michigan Golf Course

Model Your Campus
Commentary by Andrew Walton. The University of Michigan Golf Course was designed by legendary course architect Alister MacKenzie in 1931. MacKenzie known for his world famous designs like Augusta National (#3) Cypress Point (#4) and Royal Melbourne also designed the Michigan gem Crystal Downs (#10) and the Ohio State Scarlet Course. MacKenzie incorporated his trademark large undulating greens and dramatic bunkers into the rolling landscape south of campus to create the University of Michigan Golf Course: one of my favorite entities about the university.*Golf Digest 07-08 Americas 100 greatest courses.
