Recycle Ann Arbor (662-6288) has information about programs available for commercial properties. Tom McMurtrie, 994-6581, is their business recycling coordinator. The contract would be with the city's Solid Waste Department. There are two recycling methods available to commercial properties.
1) Pair of carts for recycling carts. One of the carts would be for newspaper and fibers, while the other is for mixed containers #1, #2 as well as glass.More information about the Solid Waste Department can be found on the city's website at:2) Businesses that have a large amount of cardboard would be able to get a dumpster. However, businesses with a moderate amount of cardboard can create bundles for pick up.
