Submit News Item for Newsletter
The AMS Midwest Chapter publishes an annual Newsletter summarizing members' activities and accomplishments. The newsletter is sent out in early summer. Please submit items via email to amsmidwestnewsletter@umich.edu. News of promotions, publications, conference papers, significant events and activities, and departmental hiring are welcome.
To assist the newsletter editor, please make sure your report is accurate, clear, and consistent with pertinent bibliographic norms. If using words in a foreign language, be sure to notate any diacritical marks in parentheses or send your items as an MS Word (.doc) attachment. You are responsible for checking the submission for accuracy. Note that papers read at AMS Midwest Chapter meetings are automatically included in the Newsletter.
We try to publish items as submitted, but the editor reserves the right to modify your text to fit the space limitations and style requirements of the publication. If significant changes are required or if an item cannot be published in this forum, you will be contacted via email.
