SPRING MEETING
Mark your calendars now for the Spring Meeting of the AMS Midwest chapter in St. Louis, March 22-23. Our host will by Washington University and local arrangements are being coordinated by Dolores Pesce [dpesce@artsci.wustl.edu].

Registration
As always, registration for Chapter meetings is free to members in good standing--just fill out a registration form and pick up a nametag at the registration table outside the meeting room. You may join or renew your membership by paying annual dues to the Chapter treasurer at this time as well. To check your current membership status, visit our membership and dues pages.

Accommodations
Rooms are available at the Best Western Inn at the Park, 4636 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108 (314) 367-7500. Toll Free Reservations 1-800-373-7501 Fax: 314-367-9015. There is a block of rooms reserved under ÒWashington University- Music Dept.Ó which will provide a reduced conference rate. A single room is $75 + tax and a double room is $85 + tax. (The double room can accommodate up to 4 people.) The block of rooms will be held until March 1. After that date, the hotel will honor the conference rate, but cannot guarantee room availability. Travel
By Air
Fly any carrier to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL). To reach the Best Western Inn at the Park from that airport, take the Metrolink to the Central West End Station. From the Station, call the hotel front desk (314-367-7500) for courtesy van service. This service is available from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Driving Directions
From either I-44 or I-40/64, take the Kingshighway exit and turn north. Travel on Kingshighway until reaching Lindell Ave. At Lindell, turn east (right). The hotel will be on the south side of Lindell Ave. about 2 blocks from the Kingshighway intersection. See maps.

Conference Sessions (Shuttle and Driving Directions)
All conference sessions will be held on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. From the Best Western Inn at the Park, conference attendees can either drive to the Washington University campus or take the hotel shuttle. Shuttle service is available between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. To drive to campus, take Lindell Ave. west until reaching a T-intersection with Skinker Ave. Turn left (south) onto Skinker and get into the right lane immediately. At the intersection with Forsyth Ave, turn right (west). Continue traveling west on Forsyth Ave. until you reach Wallace Circle on the left side of the street. Wallace Circle leads to the parking lot behind the three buildings which house the Music Department. All conference sessions will be held in Music Classroom Building Room 102 (the newest of the three buildings).

Food
The Best Western Inn at the Park is near a fabulous dining and shopping district. Specific recommendations will be available at the conference.
