We are going ahead with the AMS meeting in Chicago, Sept 29-30. I
have polled the officers of the chapter and the consensus is to go ahead.
One officer suggested that if flying is a problem for some, driving may be possible (though inconvenient). Perhaps (oh dreaded thought) carpooling!
Many officers indicated that attempting to return to normal is the most positive response we can make. However, there are many ways of viewing this situation and not wishing to travel is as realistic as any. Please make the decision that is right for you. Your choice is honored and respected.
