Research

In 2019, I participated in the REU Summer@ICERM. I worked in a group of peers and mentors on a project that looked at discrete dynamical systems generated by multiple rational maps. I highly recommend applying to this program if the topic of the summer interests you.

I did an REU at the University of Michigan in Summer 2018. I produced an expository write up of one of the main theorems I explored, which is published in the University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Journal here. I also gave a talk at the end-of-Summer seminar. I was mentored by Professor Daniel Burns, who was incredibly supportive and helpful.

I was a member of a LOG(M) project team in the semester of Winter 2018, and we continued to work a bit after the school year. We sought evidence of another entry in Sullivan's Dictionary. I worked under Professor Dylan Thurston, and was mentored by 3 of his graduate students (Patrick Haggerty, Didac Martinez-Granado, and Maxime Scott) who gave me and my collaborators an extensive crash course in Complex Dynamics and Hyperbolic Geometry.

Feel free to ask me about these experiences, especially if you are a student looking to undergo similar ones.
