(ex Arkansas) Hello Everyone, I've only recently joined the list. Although I have lived in Australia since 1975, I am from Shannon County, Missouri, and go back there frequently. I am trying to find out more information about my paternal ancestry, specifically Warren Newton Burnett, my great grandfather. All I have is that he died ca. 1925, and is buried in an unmarked grave at the Summer Cemetary at Ink, Missouri (a rural community between Eminence and Summersville). It is said that he came to Missouri from Arkansas, some time around 1900 (I presume). His wife (unknown) died before he came to Eminence, and he was accompanied by his (only?) son, Edmond Burnett (b. 1879, d. 1958, buried at New Eminence Cemetary). Do these names ring any bells? Many thanks, Ron Burnett ron@lis.rch.unimelb.edu.au ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2000 01:51:04 -0400 From: metaltoe@bellsouth.net To: btrvetc-l@genealogy.org Subject: [Fwd: Burnett] Does anyone know of a Atchael Burnett from Tennessee, I don't know what part of Tenn. He is the father of Benjamin Franklin Burnett born October 12, 1842. I think that Atchael was married to a Nancy Kuykendall, he is also refered as Agus!
