Turner Data Files

Here are some files that Anthony Turner of Tennessee (tturner@mail.state.tn.us) has been compiling. You will need pkzip or its equivalent to unzip them.

Unfortunately, I seem to have lost the first 3 files.

The files are in Microsoft Excel format. You should be able to import them into Excel or Lotus Symphony.

Revolutionary War Transactions for Turners of Virginia, revtran.zip.
Land Transactions of Turners in Tennessee, turtran.zip.
Land Transactions for Hardeman, Lauderdale, Rutherford, and Tipton Counties, Tennessee. Filename is turnhis2.txt. You should be able to read it, although the lines may appear to wrap. It was cre ated in Symphony, exported as an Excel file, and exported from Excel as a text with fixed format file. You should be able to import it back to Excel if you wish.
Miscellaneous Virginia Transactions, a zipped Excel file, which includes transactions for the following counties: Caroline, Charles City, Culliper, Essex, Fairfax, Goochland, Halifax, Herenco, Isle of Wright, King George, King & Queen, New Kent, Orange, Prince Geroge, Prince William, Southampton, Spotsivania, Westmorland.
