See it in this compilation. I think it would be interesting if we get to know a couple things about our "cousins". If you feel uncomfortable responding to any of the categories, just answer those you want to answer. If you don't want to participate, perhaps you can send back a message saying "No response". This will also let me know that you actually read this compilation. Thanks so much. Nyla ====================== Subj: Who and What Date: 97-10-26 19:09:05 EST From: N4JED Humor a poor beginner. Francis Gilley's daughter Elizabeth Gilley did NOT marry Richard Pilson. I would have posted the rror sooner but have been checking the rest of the Gilley files for any further errors. I'm very sorry, I do hope this has not cause too much confusion. To err is human To really screw up, you need a computer. Dilbert Eunice B. Kirkman -------- ekirkman@swva.net -=| Virginia - The cradle of the nation |=- ======================== Eunice, Do you remember when we couldn't blame the computer when we "recreated" a family? I combined a couple files recently. For some strange reason (??), the computer did its own thing and made a disaster of my data. It was definitely the computer, not operator error. Thank goodness I had made backups before I started. Nyla P.S. I just love Dilbert. ========================= Subj: Corn Family Date: 97-10-26 20:17:19 EST From: N4JED To: bowjay@foothill.net CC: NCreed1 Donna, Sorry, I do not have any further on Matthew Corn's brothers other than their listing in a 1970's Patrick - Henry Counties Allied Families publication that I have. David ====================== Subj: Who we are Date: 97-10-26 20:17:24 EST From: N4JED Nyla, How about setting up a poll. We deal so much with who our ancestors are; I for one would like to know who we are. I know several members of our group are "practicing" or real live genealogists and everyone should know I am an architect trying to reach amateur genealogist status in my spare time. So could you run a survey and post the results of what everyone does ? No names, just profession or status. David =================== Folks: Let's all respond to David's request.
