Mary ====================== Subj: Burnett Date: 97-09-22 09:36:16 EDT From: frmill@artelco.com (Frank H. Miller) Our oldest Burnett family that we have documented begins with Enoch Burnett, born abour 1804, and listed in the Shoal Creek District of Cherokee County, North Carolina, with wife named Elizabeth Sherer, born about 1806. Their seven listed children were: Jasper Burnett, born 1830 and died 1904, was married to Louisiana Allen, known as Lucy. Hazeltine Burnett, born 1833 and married Lafayette Pack who was born about 1834 and was the son of 1794 Jeremiah Pack and wife, Mary (Polly) Bridges. John C. Burnett, born 3/18/1838 and died 4/2/1915. He married Emaline Pack, daughter of 1819 Timothy Pack and wife, Lydia Burger. Emma Burnett born 1836. James Commodore Burnett, born 10/31/1845, and died in Daney, Arkansas 2/27/1910. He married Clarinda Rogers of Towns county Georgia. Ellen Burnett, born 1845. Nancy Burnett born 1850. I think that Lewis M. Burnett was a brother to 1804 Enoch Burnett. I can not find out who the parents of Enoch Burnett are or anything further back. If anyone can help it would be great. Also I have most of this whole line up to date so if any one wishes to have it just email me and it is yours. Thanks so much.
