Record Low Water Levels on Lake Mead
Below
is an image of Grand Wash Cliffs, taken at the end of December, 2002, where
the Colorado
flows out of the Grand Canyon into Lake Mead proper. Note the meander at the
lower right - in previous years
the flat brown area was covered in water.
