Two Scifaiku

By Deborah P. Kolodji

1

comet dust
she casts a wish
to the solar wind

2

longer shadows
werewolf nights under
the double moon

Deborah P. Kolodji, a two time Rhysling nominee, is primarily interested in short poetry. She is a member of the Science Fiction Poetry Association and the Haiku Society of America. She edited the demonstration chapbook, Dwarf Stars (http://www.genremall.com/dpkolodji.htm) as an attempt to convince the SFPA to add a new short-short Rhysling award category for poems under 10 lines. Unfortunately, the measure tied.

Her mainstream collection of haiku and cinquains, unfinished book, is available from Shadows Ink Productions (http://www.shadowpoetry.com/bookstore/unfinishedbook.html). She is the editor of Amaze: The Cinquain Journal (http://www.amaze-cinquain.com).
