March of the Apocalypse: Part 1

By Larry Williams

A blood-chilling tormentor
Hell's own on his steed
Through the fiery gates he rides
To plant his devil seed

To the mortal realms he flies
His army at his side
In every direction he sends them off
To leave no place to hide

Cornered, now, the mortals are
Here on earthen plain
They fall to him on every side
All left dead and slain

The monster rides and takes his throne
The dead now are his slaves
His demons march for heaven above
In waves and waves and waves...

Larry Williams is a 17-year-old born and raised in the beautiful (and refreshingly wet) Washington state. He has loved to write since he first discovered poetry in a class at school, and since then has taken every glimmer of inspiration to work for him as he could. Besides writing he enjoys reading, the occasional video game, being with friends, walking/running outside, learning anything he can from anywhere, just plain having fun, and relaxing in thought about who knows what (maybe his next poem?).
