Robotic moose fool poachers A Wisconsin taxidermist says he's making a killing selling stuffed wild animals as decoys to fool poachers. US and Canadian conservation wardens are using Brian Wolslegel's decoys to dupe illegal wildlife hunters. They are made from real animal hides and some include a robotic motor in the head and tail. Prices range from around 210 British pounds for a pheasant to 2,250 British pound for a moose with a robotic head and removable legs and antlers. But not everyone realises the animals are fakes, even though they don't run when shot at or fall over when hit. Conservation warden Mark Brann says he's had to tell people to stop shooting at the animated deer. Copyright 2001 Ananova Ltd
