National hero's tomb labelled zoo on tourist map Vietnamese officials have admitted producing a tourist map which labelled national revolutionary hero Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum a zoo. A Hanoi tourism department spokesman says it has held a self-criticism session after the incident. The official said 16,000 copies of the tourist map were printed, but not distributed, before the mistake was discovered. "It was lucky that we discovered the fault early, otherwise we could be in big trouble," he said. The maps were to be given to local tourist agencies and foreign travel companies as part of Vietnam's tourist promotion campaign, he said. The tourist map showed the top 10 tourist spots in Hanoi with symbols, names and illustrations. Dozens of other attractions were marked with numbers and listed in the key, said the official. Officials made the mistake when they removed a poor-quality photo of the mausoleum and placed a number under the mausoleum that corresponded to the zoo in the key. The mausoleum is several kilometres from the zoo. Copyright 2001 Ananova Ltd
