Silent Poetry - FAQ v0.5
The following is a collection of questions/thoughts that are often
presented to me regarding Silent Poetry. Please consult this FAQ before
contacting me.
Which song has the lyrics: "The Killer in me is the Killer in you"?
It's [Disarm] and it can be found on the Smashing
Pumpkins' 2nd release - Siamese Dream. This is a rare find, but I'm sure
you can get it at any Best Buy or Media Play or whatever superstore you
picked up your free AOL cd. For questions like these, try the search
function on the site. It usually helps, sometimes it's a total failure.
Do you have the lyrics to the Vampire song?
"you know...rat in a cage..." Yeah, I know. The
Pumpkins 4th release Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness contains
the song [Bullet with Butterfly Wings]. This may (or may not) be
that one vampire song. I'll have to do some more research on this
one.
Where can I find (xxx)?
If it's listed on my site, it has a note on its availability.
Look at the song information before asking.
Do you have all of these songs?
No, I can't say that I have them all. If I did, there would
be more complete lyrics. Most are available at nspaa (linked in the links
section). If you still can't find a certain song, I give you permission
to email me.
How can I contact the band?
Try www.smashingpumpkins.com. That is all.
The Smashing Pumpkins are the best band ever!! PUMPKIN-LUV!
werd. I totally agree. But maybe you should let the folks
over at the official message board know that (again,
www.smashingpumpkins.com).
Seriously, what is a "Call Out Hook" ??
This can be confusing if you don't know anything about it. A
call out hook is a sample of a song placed onto a radio promo single for
use in a radio commercial, usually tagged with the station identification.
Promos like [I of the Mourning] and [Perfect] have these and are nothing
more than small clips from those songs. It's nothing to get excited over,
and should not be confused for a real song called [Call out hook]. I
admit, I was fooled once into thinking there was such a song. It's a
pretty neat title for one if you ask me. heh
