"THE WHITE STRIPES' drummer MEG WHITE stunned fans at Britain's LEEDS FESTIVAL on
Sunday (24AUG03), by joining pal BRENDAN BENSON on stage.
In one of the most bizarre festival collaborations, White joined rocker Benson - like
The Stripes a native of Detroit, Michigan - during his song JETLAG, the last song of
his performance on the CARLING STAGE.
The rock party grew even stranger when THE DATSUNS' rockers DOLF and PHIL appeared to
play guitar, with the SOLEDAD BROTHERS adding their dancing skills.
The chaos heightened when Dolf hauled Benson on his shoulders and paraded the singer
around the stage during the final chorus."
