Well, the past several months have been somewhat of a nightmare. From a bad relationship to a bad gallbladder, I've been too busy to do much of anything. Things are coming to a head though and should be all sorted out in the next week!

Next week I'll be having my gall bladder removed via laparoscopic (sp?) surgery. Yummy! Ever have a stone in your gall bladder? Believe me, you don't want it! Sad thing is, the surgery is Thurday the 27th of Januray. The day AFTER my birthday! Ah well, such is life! Feel free to send me email at Brenten@umich.edu

I'm supposed to be out only for a few days of which I'll be scanning as much UY as I can. I've got 6 wideban mangas scanned in, working on Wideban #12 right now. I'll be posting a list soon of all the stories that Project ILM has done as well as what Viz has done (Wait 'til you see what all Viz skipped!).

Have to admit, I'm dreading the idea of surgery. I've never had so much as a stitch in my entire life so the idea of being 'cut on' is a bit unnerving. Granted, I have a lot of friends and family who will be there for me. I want to thank them in advance for that.

Once all this is past, I'll be devoting a lot of my time and energy into the UY translation project, so keep your fingers crossed!
