c 1723 Anna Barbara Sprenkle was born about 1723 in Lancaster Co, PA [now York
Co, PA], the daughter of Michael S. Sprenkle and Margaret [surname unkown]. 
(The Ancestors of Frances Driver (1813-1866); 1697-1866 by Walter W. White;
privately published, 1995; pp 5-7, not seen).

1729 Ludwig Treiber was born about 1729 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany
(Strassburger-Hinke, Pennsylvania German Pioneers, Vol 1; p 424).

1749 On 17 October, Ludwig Treiber immigrated to Philadelphia on the ship Fane
with captain William Hyndman. (Dull Early Families, p xv).

1752 The ship Two Brothers from Rotterdam, mastered by Thomas Arnot, included
Henrich Hofman, Ludwig Spies, and Jacobus Hofman as passengers. (PA Archives
Series 2, Vol 17, p 377).

1752 Adam Hoffman died.  

c 1753 After Adam's death, Anna Barbara married Ludwig Treiber.

1762 Deed A-618; York Co, PA; 15 Nov 1762  (source not seen).

1772 On 25 February, Ludwig Treiber died in Codorus Twp appointing Barbara and
(son) Michael Treiber as executors. (Will Book C, page 74, of York County).

1781 Anna's son, Michael Treiber, was granted letters of administration for
her estate on 9 April 1781. Michael Driber was named "administrator de bonis
non of Ludwig Driber" April 9, 1781.   (Will Book E, page 187 of York County).

1782 "Michael Driber, Administrator De bonis Non of Ludwick Driber" appeared
in court August 28, 1782. On that date Mary Driber, seventeen year old
daughter of "Ludwick Driber, late of Manchester Township, York County" chose
Jacob Heidelbaugh to be her guardian. (York County Orphan's Court Record Book
E, page 40).

1784 Orphans Court Document E-184, York Co, PA, 8 Sep 1784 (source not seen).

1787 On August 20, Michael and Barbara Treiber of Newberry Township sold 127
acres of land to Christopher and Barbara Bower of Manchester Township. This
land had been sold to Ludwick Trieber, deceased, in 1771 by John and Sara
Kagey. The deed indicated that Ludwick had died intestate (without a will)
"leaving lawful issue to wit: Michael Treiber. . . eldest son and heir at law,
Anna, wife of John Reif, Peter Treiber, Jacob Treiber, Barbara Treiber, Mary
Treiber, and Elizabeth Treiber to whom the tract of described land with its
appurtenances legally descend. (Deed Book C, page 428 for York County ).
